Q.

hii all my 3 years old daughter loves eating Oreo biscuits,and she eats those lot..I found her Stool was hard from 2-3 days..could Oreo be the reason..even the color was a bit dark ..she eats the black ones..plz reply.

A. Hello yes possibly that is the cause black stools can be due to iron supplements or some blood loss in stoold avoid biscuits it is made from refined flour with high sugar and preservatives with no nutrition avoid it give homemade foods avoid biscuitsplease comsult Paediatricin if black stools persist

A. I would not suggest you to give your child any of the commercial biscuits available in the market as the commercial biscuits are made of wheat flour which is a waste product of wheat and it lacking in fibers so avoid using biscuits

A. hi good morning. yes Oreo can be very well a reason for constipation. imitbans restrict its intake. biscuits are low in fibre and high in sugars. these are basically empty calories. so better to avoid it on daily basis occasionally it's fine give plenty of water to drink
