A. Hello...babies gain of 600-800 grams per month in the first 6 months is a good weight gain...babies usually double their birth weight by 5 the month and triple their birth weight by one year...with height babies gain 4cms first three months and then 2 CMS in the coming months till 6 months Approx weight range of babies in the first year will be around 9 kgs to 11kgs..and height will be 73cms to 76cms In the 2nd year 10- 12kgs and height will be 83cms to 88cms 3rd year 13kgs to 15kgs and height will be 93cms to 97cms 4th year 15 kgs to 17 kgs and height will be 100cms to 105cms 5th year 16kgs to 18 kgs ..and he height will be 105 CMS to 110cms The weight can vary ..if child is active then weight should not be a concern unless it is too under weight..and height can depends on parents height too
