Hi will the baby taking iron syrup have black stool? is that normal or something to worry

A. Its normal to have brown black stools while taking Iron supplements.

A. Yes it could be due to iron supplements but consult a paediatrician and he will guide you better after examination and analysis

A. Yes Sometimes dark green stools can be due to any iron supplements that u r giving your baby. But If they look more like black then u should consult your doctor to make sure there is no infection .
