Q.

Hi.Today I had covid test results is positive.I had 2 months old baby.my baby had no covid symptoms. what precautions can I take?

A. even if you are covid positive you can continue to give breastfeeding to the child and you have to just take care that you should wear wear a mask while in coming in contact with the child and also continue to do regular hand washing when you are holding the child

If You want to continue breastfeeding the child you can but with all the precautions like using a mask and sanitising well maintaining proper hygiene and cleanliness at home do every thing which is necessary with all the Covid protocols and just take care so that your child doesn’t get that infection from you
