Q.

Hi team, My baby is 3 months old and I am not sure if breastfeeding is sufficient for her.how to understand if breastmilk is sufficient because everytime she wakes up she looks for breast and wants to suck even if she sleeps for 5 mins after feeding. This is bit confusing.Just want to know how to understand if breastfeeding is sufficient? And also can we give both breastmilk and formula feed if breastmilk alone is not sufficient?

A. baby has to pass urine 8 to 10 times per day should gain 20 grams per day in first 3 months of age this is a sign of proper milk to the baby
