hi sir, my son got a fever from last 5 days and the temperature goes high to low and low to high for every few hours?? what could be the reason?

difficult to tell without examination whether it is normal or not.
advisable to remain in contact with your doctor for proper guidance and treatment
for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature.
also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol.
higher medicines for fever like ibugesic aznd mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation.
after giving fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and tzhen meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere
