Q.

Hi Sir my daughter is 8 month old and having high fever when I checked physical but when I check it with thermometer then it's show normal and in the range of 36_37 . is this happening because of teeth coming or anything else

A. Mod grade fever can be seen during teething especially the head feels hot so if body temperature is normal then nothing to worry and keep monitoring temp temperature of the baby and give calpol drops if body temperature is around 100F

A. Hi yes low grade rise in body temperature occurs during the teething phase.. consult with your pediatrician if temperature rises above 100.4 degrees.. gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip to facilitate the eruption process of teeth

A. Hello dear parent! Try giving a light sponge bath to reduce the discomfort. Gently press your child’s gums with a soft cotton cloth dipped in cold water to reduce teething discomfort. Give easily digestible homemade healthy diet and keep hydrated. If fever is above 100 try giving a single dose of paracetamol. Use Babyhug teether.
