Hi Sir My Daughter is 3 months 21 days old she is not passing stool everyday, we are using suppositories for the same in evey 3-4 days. Please suggest if it is dangerous or it's normal ?

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme pcreparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1h year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
