Q.

Hi sir My daughter got a fever and we give meftagesic-ds syrup for 2 days and fever decreased but She got mouth ulcer total fully in her mouth we went to the pediatrician she Given same meftagesic-ds syrup and Amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate oral suspension ip XENOMOX-CV SYRUP And Fourts-B syrup for Vitamin dificiancy so please let me know we should use meftagesic-ds syrup again or any other syrup my daughter has not been eating from 2 days every half an hour She is crying pain in her mouth

A. it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least onex week. you have to provide plenty of water to drink and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite. if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add multivitaminx supplements to increase the appetite.
