Q.
Hi Sir My co-sisterโs boy baby born on 5 Aug 2023 and is 4.5 months old. He is just now turning on his tummy. My doubt is can we make the baby sit on the lap of sofa also can we make him walk on the floor ? Is it safe for the baby to sit and walk? Please advise on the same. Thanks ๐

you can make the child sit with support after completion of 5 months of age. the thing is that the back of the child should be well supported along with the head as well as the bottom of the child. after making the child sit if you see that the child is uncomfortable then kindly avoid sitting of the child again for at least one to two weeks

it is too early
just give enough tummy time through which your child bones and muscles can be strong
give gentle massage with Babyhug massage oil everyday which helps in Healthy growth
