hi sir ,my baby is freequently affected with cough and cold.can u give me suggestion.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. cold and cough is usually a viral infection for which you can give relent plus syrup to the baby and can put nasoclear drops into the nose to relieve nasal congestion

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. just steam fir now .Steam will be helpul in Cough and nasal blockage . Also can use nasoclear nasal drop or nasovion nasal drop for nasal blockage and them give steam to baby . If any respiratory difficulty then conult a pediatrician .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations. many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections. it is very common that children will havec a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever before 5 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will gox away. get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this problem
