Q.

Hi Sir..My baby is 75 days old..often his poop is watery and pooping after every feeding..some days he is pooping more than 7 times..is it something serious..do I have to give any medicine?

A. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also. it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day. if the consistenccy of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool. also straining while passing urine and stool is normal. Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

A. An occasional loose poop is not usually a problem. However, if you see two or more watery bowel movements, your baby may have diarrhea. Call your baby's doctor right away if: You have a newborn.
