Q.
hi sir my baby is 4years old now..so she right now she got chest congestion, cold cough,...n I have already gave her the medicine from past 3 days...n her congestion and the voice of cough was too loud ...so wat else I can do...she can't take honey or home remedies...

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. this can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to weather changes around the child. for cold you can give syp maxtra 5 ml to the child 2 to 3 times per day. (helps in decreasing running nose) (or any anti cold medicine) try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal blockage and simple cough and cold. indirect steam can also be given. go for home remedies like tulsi gingger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. give warm water to drink if no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor

Hi If you cannot a home remedies the nebulisation is going to be good because in that case you can use medicine in the nebulising machine only and that way it would be easier for you to nebulise your child and it will help in melting down the cold and congestion out of the system
