Hi sir , my baby is 10 months old...her thigh length seems to be short compared to her body length.

A. discrepancy in the length of the limbs is many times common during the initial growth phase dbut if it is more than the required length discripancy then you have to find the cause as if it is related to some growth disorder or it is just a anatomical variation for which a medical examination will be required with your pediatrician as well as orthopaedicc doctor

A. Hi each baby is different don't worry in the first 3 months, babies put on about 800-900grams each month. From 3-6 months, weight gain reduces to 1/2 kg/month. from 6-9 months, it becomes 1/3, and for 9-12 months, it becomes 1/4 kg. the birth weight doubles in the 4th month and triples when they reach 12 months of age.
