hi sir, my 14 months baby having the cough and cold.what medicine we should give to him.

A. it is just steam for .Blockage of nose is due to the common cold and flu due to season variation . Steam along with other home remedy like maintaining baby temperature will help . Nasal drop like nasovion for block . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .

A. Try to prevent temperature variations around the child. Give warm water to drink. For running nose and cold you can give drops wikoryl a f 0.5 ml 2 times per day. For cough and cold give nasal saline drops. You can also go for steam inhalatiofn. Give home remedies like Tulsi Ginger water to the child and honey can be added if the child is more than 1 year of age. Meet the doctor if there is no improvement in few days
