# hi sir good morning my son is just 2.11 from now we did not give any flu vaccine. shall I give now flu vaccine to him please suggest sir. why because clod coming monthly once

A. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity. Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of ageji and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single tdose is required . It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .
