Q.
hi...question about my daughter....from yesterday from evening temperature increasing...and at night it was 100.3...I put paracetamol syrup 5ml...and the fever decreased....and again today evening temperature increasing and now I put same syrup 5ml....what is the reason for sudden fever occurs without any symptoms.....please reply.....

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can get be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required
and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
