Q.

Hi, please advice if i can give threptin biscuit to my kids,,? they just lick and try to get the taste of biscuits. so thought of giving threptin. they don't prefer solid food even in this stage. iam still mashing the food to make feeding time easier else it is very fussy. please advice.

A. Please avoid giving mashed food to the baby. Let it be messy fussy but please try to give solids to the baby also teach your baby to chew the food properly. Let it take time but don't give up. Avoid giving biscuits as Biscuits contain negligible nutritional value and additives and also has high sugar content. Eat with the baby play rhymes sing along tell stories show pictures speak about family friends birds etc make him eat in a play manner give in colourful plates spoons bowls etc Appreciate set example. It's ok even if the baby is having a few spoons initially gradually increase the quantity of the food. Can try giving semi solids initially also can make it a bit liquidy gradually decrease the amount of water
