Q.
Hi.my tsh is 6.19 and t 3 t4 are normal doctor prescribed me thyroxine 25mcg.i gained 3 kg before taking the medicine.recently I have started taking medicine can I stop gaining weight ?can I cure this in 2 months?because my tsh is only ittile high and is there any chance to raise in tsh even though I'm taking thyroxine?please help me

Dt. Megha GuptaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, dear when it comes to hormonal health nothing can be generalized and specific. So start taking ur medication as per the doctor's advice and repeat ur test after 3 months. Don't skip or stop taking thyroid medication.
