Hi! My toddler is 2 years 3 months old , he has viral fever and post viral cough symptoms now..consulted with nearby pediatrician he told to give coftain dx syrup(Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide, Chlorpheniramine Maleate & Phenylephrine Hydrochloride Syrup) but last year I consulted someother pediatrician she advised to give ambrolite s syrup because we should not suppress cough ..I'm confused right now.. pediatrician dr pls enlighten me

theur are many types of cough and cough syrups are asviced according to types of it.
it will be good to follow current advice.
also give turmeric milk
