Q.
Hi.. My son will turn 2 next month. I'm using chicco toothpaste for my son. Is it ok?? We have to fought a war while brushing his teeth every morning.what can I do for that

Don't make it a boring task rather make it a fun.. like you can make some songs about this brushing activity or tell her some stories about the brushing. . make it fun... use cartoon brushes... let her do her teeth brush herself in the starting then at the last you can give it a finishing touch... this way she will learn and enjoy to do brushing... You can brush your own teeth with her so that she can also learn from it... Do competition... Like who will make more bubbles... Or who will do it longer... Etc .. generally kids don't like the toothpaste... so Avoid it till they know how to spit it out.. Or till they comfortably learn the brushing.. You should teach him to brush his teeth first without using toothpaste. Then once he get used to brushing, then you can gradually introduce the toothpaste... Start with rice grains size toothpaste and non flouride toothpaste as there is no harm if it get swallow up... .. rinse his mouth everytime after feed... or simply just give him some water to drink... ....

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children8 years agoA. You can catch his attention by using different colored tooth brushes, like one color for each day and u can sing some rhymes while brushing. Tell him brushing will complete by the time the song ends.
