Hi…. My son is turning two this aug but still doesnt speak.

lisa sarkarGuardian of a 2 yr 3 m old girl4 months agoA. If he is communicating through pointing, sign language. don't respond immediately. my daughter was doing the same thing. when we stopped responding immediately and acted that we are not understanding, she started trying to speak. try it at least for 2 weeks.

If your child is not speaking at all but understanding everything responding to everything that you say or ask them to do then it is a good sign but if the speech is not there then in that case I would recommend you to consult a speech therapist once and check if there is a delay and if any therapy would be required
