Q.

Hi .My son is having flu doc told and gave medications and syrup past 2 days he is taking it and one day his fever reduced but today he is coughing continuously even after syrups and few hme remedies..should we give it a time or should again consult doc..Doc has given for 5 days suspension already.

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongdgestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation cgan be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

A. try some home remedies for cough as give a spoon of honey before bed or a glass of tumeric milk boil some Tulsi leaves crushed ginger in a cup of water till it is half add honey and give 2-3 spoon three times a day
