Q.
Hi..my son is due with DTwP B1/DTaP B1, IPV B1, Hib B1vaccines which should be given in 16-18 months..now he is 17 months..can i wait till he is 18 months old or should I go for it now?

Dolly bhatnagarGuardian of a 6 yr 6 m old girl4 years agoA. I am also facing the same situation . what had you done that time. these vaccinations are due for my daughter too. corona cases have rised so much that we can't go to far hospital as there is no nearby hospital

Pujabafna155Mom of a 7 yr 8 m old boy5 years agoA. my concern is whether the booster works now if he is late by 7 months. he has his initial vaccines on time. because of corona we avoided going to hospitals. so we missed. now if I give my son booster vaccine which i mention in question above, will it be effective to give booster now as gap is more from initial vaccines

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children8 years agoA. You can go for it, if he didn't have any vaccination in the last one month. And it will be always easy for you, if you get ur baby's vaccination chart updated by ur doctor. When u go for the current vaccine, check with your doctor and get the date for next vaccine. This will make things simpler.

Shaista TarannumMom of a 17 yr old boy8 years agoA. you should be able to get it done now. however Ma'am please consult your Pediatrician once with regard to any vaccination. it will be better as she can guide you according to your baby's previous vaccinations. all Pediatricians follow different guidelines depending on the type of vaccination. always try to give vaccinations on time.
