Q.
hi. my son is 5.5 months old and he hardly turns when we speak. but he turns to sounds like rattle. is this normal.

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. well its ok. hes smalll. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. As long as he reacts to some kind of sound it's ok. Babies will try to identify the source of sounds when they are around 4 months. They will turn to check where the sound comes from. Around six months they will try to imitate the sounds that u make. By eight months they will be able to respond or react in their own way to the different sounds that u make. But if u r worried u may consult with your pediatrician once in person.
