Q.

Hi my son is 3 years old he has fever and cough from last 4 days.. Our doctor prescribed relent and augumentin and antiful syrup.. Cough is reducing but fever is coming every 14 hours once.. Should I continuously give paracetamol every 6 hours and is fever reducing as there is long interval..

A. only when fever comes whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for three days and follow the instructions given by the doctor and if there is no improvement after three days then take a follow up. so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whether any change in medicine or any other investigation is needed or not

A. See for three days you can continue with the medicine but after series also if you see the fever is not subsiding when You loved immediately consult the doctor for that you have to go ahead with getting a blood test done for your child to see that out what could possibly be the issue behind itWrite Your Answer Here
