Q.
hi , my son is 3 months old....he is not gaining weight ....everytime I weigh he is 200 300 grams under weight ...what do I do for his weight gain....he is breastfeeding and one time at night I give him similac formula....should I start dal water n rice water for his growth at this stage ??

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. no top food before 6 months, feed as often as they seem hungry or want comforted, offer more breastfeeds, feed from both breasts at each breastfeed.
If you're concerned, meet with a lactation consultant or your pediatrician.

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and it is better to evaluate once your baby with your child doctor in person and find out the exact reason for the same. as at this age baby should gain weight on weekly basis.
