hi. my son is 23 month old and his weight is 10.5 kg height 85cm very active.. but speaks very few words.. is he underweight????.. how to make speak him

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so thnat he can learn to spegfak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

If your child would be approximately 12 kgs by the time of 24 months then that’s going to be more appropriate and healthy weight gain for the child and in terms of talking the more you interact with the child more your child is going to launch it would completely depend as to how well are you talking to the childWrite Your Answer Here
