hi my son is 21 months old from Saturday onwards he is getting temperature like 99 and 100 ,we had done blood test in that wbc count is 14500 doctor said viral fever and gave azee antibiotic medicine and today the temp is 102 how many days the fever last plz help me out doctor

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom Viral fever can take 3-5 days and some times 7 days to subside. So no need to worry. Give fever medicine as prescribed by the doctor. Repeat the dose after five six hours if fever comes again. Take care
