Q.

Hi, my son is 1year 4months old . He is having fever from afternoon . In the afternoon I gave medamol syrup but fever didn't go . After 6hours around 6 in the evening I gave him Nice 250 syrup which doctor had suggested last time . now it's 9.30 pm still he is having fever . what to do? is it harmful to give 2types of syrup I am scared please reply.

A. Hello, your baby boy is 16 months old and he is having a fever and it’s not responding to paracetamol so give him syrup ibugesic plus 3 ml three times a day

A. the dosage of paracetamol is given according to the weight of the child and paracetamol can be repeated maximum 4 times per day and if it is still not improving you can go for higher medicines for fever after medical consultation
