Q.
Hi my son is 16 months old, he just recovered from vomit and loose motion and now he is having congestion with cough and cry in between.. what shud we give we gave colimax then he becme normal

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.

Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink
If no improvements in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. hello it should be better not to give any medicine unless it is advised by your doctor especially now since the child has been recovered recently so it would be better to check out the doctor and she will be able to guide your according you accordingly
