Q.
hi my son is 11 months old.. he is having cold n cough , last night he vomitted.. how to get rid of cold cough???

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy11 months agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.
Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk axt least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy11 months agoA. hello you can give indirect steam and also put saline drop and use instant rubber from babyhug and in regards to the other medicine it would be better to check with your doctor and also when the child vomit the phlegm comes out so nothing to worry about
