Q.

Hi, my son is 1 year 4months and he has not poop for 4 days now...I was told they can go with out pooping for a week...but I,'m worried...he's very active though...what should I do?

A. it is common in kids. Hard stool is very common in babies ; mainly due to less water and fiber intake as babies are moslty involve in play . So increase the quantity for same and lactulose can be used if severe constipation .

A. When It is said that a child can go without popping for 3 to 4 days it is mostly for a top infant toddler your child is not passing motion for 4 to 5 days that means your child is suffering with severe constipation you’ll have to get a check with your doctor because it’s very important for a child to pass motion every day
