A. A hump on your son's neck could be due to several reasons—commonly:
Swollen lymph nodes (due to infection) Posture-related fat pad (called a "buffalo hump") Congenital or spinal issues Cyst or benign growth
If the hump is new, growing, painful, or hard, or if he has fever, weakness, or posture changes, it’s important to see a pediatrician or a pediatric orthopedic specialist. They may advise an ultrasound, X-ray, or blood tests depending on the findings.
Early evaluation is key to rule out anything serious. Let me know his age and since when you noticed it, for a more specific suggestion.

A. Hello my dear parent! Without proper physical examination does not possible to understand what is the problem. Consult your child doctor for a personal diagnosis and seek medical guidance in this matter. Good luck and take care.
