Hi , My son got first vaccine on 22nd Jan'22. but now have noticed he got soreness in injection area is it normal? why after so many days soreness, as I didn't immediate after days of injection and how long it will take to recover,? #Vaccination

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 1 month old and he has received his vaccinations injection on 22 January 22 so after giving injection you might have not massaged it so apply ice cube on it

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and and then pus will come out from it and after that it will become a scar mark.
you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever and discomfort to the child.
also if the pus discharge is increasing or aggravating again you have to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream
