Q.
Hi, my son (1year 11months) has a fever (102 degree F) from last 6 days. After giving medicine (calpol 250 mg) his fever recurring in every 3 to 4 hour. Doctor gave meftal-p 250 mg if fever comes before 6 hour and tablet lansoprazole-15 mg (1 tablet once in a day) before food. After giving this medicine his loose motion starts and no improvement in his fever. Please advise.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. it is very common that after antibiotics loose motion can occur in children for which usually proxbiotics are advised by the doctors and you can give sachet sporolac once or twice daily and if it is still not improving then meet your doctor x
