Q.
hi my seven month old have cough from one weak so dr given clamp kid. if we given this also she continous coughing in night. what to do. please suggest. thanks..

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is veryu useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expecthuorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Then you can ask your doctor if you can nebuliser child I think there is too much of congestion in the chest and throat of the child so this is going to help in reduction of congestion and probably over the period I am sure the issue would be sorted to quite an extentWrite Your Answer Here
