Hi.. My neice s 2 months old.. She poops after every feed nd even wen she caught or sneezes she jus poops.. Nd creis alot wen she passes pee.. Wat can be done to soothe er.. Plz suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worrxy about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.x
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age
