Q.
hi my name is ashwin my son is 2 month old. lately we are observing that he is latching the nipple for 10-15 second and then he leaves it and start crying and again he tries to latch but does not happen we need to latch it again.. this happens continuously during breast feed. any thing which you can recommend.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. this happens so know that gas is a common issue and affects all new born babies. avoid bottle feeding . Burp baby well for 15 mins after each feed. Can do cycling motion of legs. Can make baby lie on tummy to relieve gas. Give gastica drops 1 ml for ease.
Colic pain is worse at night and needs drops meftal spas 1 ml . Give mother feeds only
