Hi, my kid is 2.5months and he is having cough and cold. What can be given to him as he is having congestion as well. He is feeding properly. We are giving him stem indirectly and saline nasal drop too.

A. cough and cold may be infective or allergic in cause.give steam to relieve congestion and nasoclear drops can also be used in nose multiple times can also give maxtra drops.cough syrup or nebulization should be given according to the type of cough .self medication is not advisable. if the cough is productive give kufril-ls. give only simple home-made preparations as required ,child will eat as sloymptoms resolve.
