Q.

hi my girl baby is 52 days old, she is delivered by normal. i this one or two day night she will not sleeping. heavy crying.. shall i give gripe water? pls prescribed me.

A. My baby is a month old,today is the 6th day she haven’t pooped,but she’s been passing gas frequently,sometimes she spits up too,her tummy is also soft ,not hard too,also she’s not been fussy she’s fine ,but still i am worried , is it normal for a month old not to poop for so many days? Or shall I consult a paediatrician?

A. Hai if baby cries continuously at nights or at a particular time crying for more than half an hour,any vomitings then it might be colic pain. Generally new born babies around 1-2 months face colic pain, Consult Paeditrician for colic pain and suggestion on gripe water as now a days gripe water is not suggested by doctors as it contains alcoholic content. Do regular tummy massage,if baby on breastfeed then mother have to follow diet avoid spicy,heavy, oily foods.
