Q.

Hi, my daughter suddenly developed cold today and whenever she is sneezing, watery mucous is coming out. I even gave her 0.4 ml of sinarest one time in the afternoon but of no use. Can u please suggest me any medicine or any home remedies to stop her sneezing!!

A. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations . For cold you can give syp allegra 2.5 ml twice daily to the child. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful. Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. Give warm water xto drink If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor paracetamol for fever and pain.

A. Hello dear parent! Give one more dose for how. Try giving indirect steam inhalation. Keep giving sips of lukewarm water. Consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Keep Babyhug medicine spoon handy
