Q.

Hi, my daughter is of 20 days old and was using himalaya baby soap, now she had got rashes and cant identify the reason. Will DOVE soap for her be ok ?

A. Hi even my daughter got rashes by using Himalaya baby soap..I consulted doc and he advised me to change soap immediately. M using Johnson&Johnson milk baby soap. It's really good..

A. dove is also a good brand.. but then each baby is different .. so you have to do a patch test before applying fully on the baby's skin.. also please consult the pediatrician regarding the rashes.. for rashes.. Scratching makes the situation worsen so try to make him not to scratch the affected area... you shouldo try to avoid the use of soap etc.. Give bath to the baby daily.. Moisturize his skin very often... Use a very heavy moisturiser... Or better to consult the pediatrician regarding the same as he can give you some meditated cream and soap... Also try to avoid the skin irritants like woolen wears, perfumes, etc... Keep the skin hydrated.. Use heavy moisturiser and give him a lot of healthy fluids... Breastfeed him more often... The pediatrucian may also prescribed some medicines tu apply in the affected area... Also vitamin D drops... Sometime even antibiotics...
