Q.

Hi, my daughter is having a fever from last night and reading is around 101.4° and if I give Calpol 250 around 5ML(giving interval of 6 hours)she is getting sweat within 30 min and fever comes down a bit and again she is getting fever after two hours. Since doctor not available in clinic today I am unable to consult a doctor today. please suggest should I continue to give Calpol 250 syrup.

A. yes you can repeat every 6th hourly ndo cold sponging also. there are various reasons for the baby to have fever starting from infections like viral bacterial inflammations we had to treat with only paracetamol which is safe if the fever is more than 100 degre
