A. Hearing and speech, at 1 month, the baby turns head towards sounds of rattle, by 6 months produces monosyllable sounds like ma, ba and around 9 months bisyllables like mama, baba. Around 10 months understand spoken speech or sound. Usually by the age of 1 year, child can use two words. Vocabulary increases during second year. Between the age of two years , make simple sentence using two to three words. Gradually their vocabulary increases when they turn 3 years.

A. it's fine and absolutely normal. on some days babies will behave like this and nothing to worry at all. just continue to talk to her and encourage her to talk. babies are observing and learning a lot from now on.
