Q.
Hi, My daughter is 8 months old. She gets sweaty and having heavy breathing while sleeping since last two months (We are living in Bangalore and baby wears jacket and use thin blanket while sleeping). Is it normal or we should consult a doctor?

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. sweating is normal at this age due to teething..but if you think breathing pattern is not normal then you should consult your paediatrician for proper examination of the child and start treatment as advised

Consult with your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment
Take a good care of your baby
Maintain hydration
Give indirect steam inhalation
Apply eucalyptus oil on baby’s pillow
Give adequate water and ginger juice
