Q.

Hi, my daughter is 6 years and she is going for swimming daily for past 4 months... and now her skin colour is turning to dark complexion from a fairer complexion.. kindly suggest a cream or lotion to apply after swimming.. at this age I am confused of which soap I can use.. a baby soap or the soaps adults use. now I use dove soap for her

A. I don't think you should be worry about it too much. How about trying a waterproof Sunsreen lotion before her Swimming sessions. Consult with your doctor before on deciding a Suncreen.

A. The reason for complexion change is the chlorine water in the pool. The best alternative is to moisturise your daughter with a mild oil before getting into the pool and post pool session she shud take a nice bath. The more she will spend time in the chlorine pool water the darker the skin will go but it will be temporary. Once she make the session occasionally then it will get better.

A. use water proof sunscreen lotion with more spf and make her bath with fresh water and mild soap after every session every day

A. You can continue using Dove soap. Apply a good sunscreen lotion before she goes swimming. Banana boat sunscreen is good. Try to give a coconut oil massage before bath and then give bath with warm water. once a week may be you can use besan and turmeric paste. but first try on a small area and then use on face.
