Q.
Hi My daughter is 6 months old and she has cold and cough from last 2 months. Dr told me that there was some wheezing sound and it was an infection in her respiratory tract. It happened twice. Now wheez is not there but she still has cough and cold issue. Her nose is always blocked with mucus. Gave her maxtra drops but still she is not well.please suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of thtre time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
