A. whenever you introduce food for the child and it is causing constipation you have to stop that particular food which is causing such problems and try to give food which is more rich in fibre and has got plenty of fluids.
it is important to add papaya in the diet which will help in decreasing this problem
and also at the same time see that you are not giving any new outside milk which is again known to cause constipationt
Medicine is to be given only if instructed by the doctor after examination.
give plenty of water to drink.
if needed the doctor will give polyethylene glycol which is the first line of medicine for constipation

A. For a 6.5-month-old baby experiencing constipation, you can try the following remedies:
### **1. **Increase Fluid Intake:**
- **Water:** Offer small amounts of water between meals to help with digestion and soften stools.
### **2. **Introduce High-Fiber Foods:**
- **Pureed Fruits:** Offer pureed prunes, apples, pears, or peaches. These fruits are known to help with constipation.
- **Vegetables:** Try pureed vegetables like peas or sweet potatoes, which can also aid in relieving constipation.
### **3. **Adjust Diet:**
- **Avoid Diluted Cow Milk:** Since cow’s milk can sometimes be constipating for infants, consider using formula or breast milk instead.
### **4. **Offer a Balanced Diet:**
- **Cereals:** Ensure the homemade cereals are properly cooked and not overly binding. Gradually introduce more fruits and vegetables.
### **5. **Tummy Massage:**
- **Gentle Massage:** Gently massage your baby’s tummy in a circular motion to help stimulate bowel movements.
### **6. **Bicycle Legs:**
- **Exercise:** Gently move your baby’s legs in a bicycle motion to help relieve gas and constipation.
### **7. **Consult a Pediatrician:**
- **Medical Advice:** If constipation persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, consult your pediatrician for advice and possible treatment options.
Avoid giving over-the-counter laxatives or remedies without consulting a healthcare professional. Make sure to introduce any new foods or changes to her diet gradually to monitor her response.
