Hi, my daughter is 5.5months. She has not done potty for the last 5 days. I gave her janam ghutti, but it didn't work. although her stomach feels soft. Kindly suggest some remedies so that she can poop

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common y and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid frood has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
